Flipgrid ensures students of all ages and abilities can share and amplify their voice!
Only educators need to create Flipgrid accounts. Simply share the Flip Code with students and have them input the Code at flipgrid.com or on the free Flipgrid app. Students will verify access via email or student ID. Learn more on getting started for educators.
Children under 13 require parental consent. See our Do's and Don'ts for Flipgrid best practices and make sure to collect consent forms from all students under 13 before having them participate on Flipgrid.
Educators control Grid privacy. Flipgrid educators control who they share the Grid with and students must verify access using school emails or student IDs. Learn more about Flipgrid privacy and security features.
PLC/Public Grids requires students to be 16+. Public Grids make it easy to connect with anyone in the world! This kind of global collaboration requires students to be 16+ or have parental permission (some states only require 13+). Learn more about PLC/Public Grids.
As always, educators own and control the student content posted to their Grids. Flipgrid will never advertise to students or share information with 3rd party marketers. At anytime, educators can edit, download, and permanently delete student content. Learn more about privacy, COPPA, FERPA, GDPR, and other legal questions at legal.flipgrid.com.
