PC's - Camera/Microphone Access

If the camera and microphone access do not work after troubleshooting your browser, there are a few steps to check on your PC to ensure that Flipgrid has access to the device's camera and microphone.

Troubleshooting PCs for Camera/Microphone Access 

Windows computers have a system setting that allows applications to access your camera and microphone. Please follow these steps to enable access:

  1. Open Windows Settings
  2. Select Privacy
  3. Select Camera
  4. Locate the toggle "Allow apps to access your camera" and set to "On"
  5. Scroll down and ensure your browser of choice has individual permission to access your camera
  6. Repeat this process for the Microphone setting
