If you run into any issues after integrating Flipgrid into Canvas, please check these details and then follow the steps below to delete Flipgrid from Canvas and start again:
- Flipgrid does not support system-wide integration. If someone else setup your course, there may be an issue. Please delete and reinstall.
- Create a NEW Grid and use NEW key & secrets for each integration. Reusing key & secrets should not cause any problems but we have seen problems resolved when adding a new integration with new key & secrets.
- You role in the course must be Teacher. Select the People tab on your course sidebar and confirm your role is marked as Teacher.
If you run into any issues, please delete Flipgrid from Canvas and add a new integration:
- Go to Settings in Canvas
- Select the Apps tab
- Select "view app configurations"
- There you can delete any Flipgrid installs.
- If you don't see Flipgrid listed, contact your school IT for help as they are limiting your permissions which may create other issues within Flipgrid.
